Bad Habits

I have discovered (well Gary helped me discover) that I have this bad habit of nodding or shaking my head to answer a question. Which wouldn't be so bad except that I do it even when the person asking the question isn't looking. I'm trying to shake it but I caught myself doing it tonight. Oy Vey!!

News

Does the news depress anyone else? I just had the 11 O'clock news on and I kid you not the first stories went something like this---about 4 1/2 minutes on the auto companies tumbling down and 4 of the cities that would be affected by losing their property tax revenue then on to a couple of their suppliers that are holding on by a thread--actually one hasn't emerged from bankruptcy as fast as they thought. Then the very next story was DHL laying off 9500 people and then Circuit City filing for bankruptcy. I seriously had to leave my computer. I literally got up and walked out of the room. I have learned that I can't sit and listen to all of the doom and gloom anymore because I start to get depressed and have dark thoughts. They go away till the next time I hear a ton of bad news stories in a row. It's scary!
